This Privacy Policy explains how Changzhou Blue Hole Textile Technology Co., Ltd. (“Bluehole Textile”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when you visit https://shortplush.com/, contact us, request samples or quotations, or otherwise interact with our business.
1. Who we are
Data controller: Changzhou Blue Hole Textile Technology Co., Ltd.
Address: 15 Houshi Road, Lijia Town, Wujin District, Changzhou, Jiangsu, China
Privacy contact: Bluehole@shortplush.com
2. Information we collect
- Contact and inquiry information: your name, company, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, country, product interests, order requirements and messages.
- Files and product information: specifications, reference images, drawings or other files you choose to attach to an inquiry.
- Business information: quotation, sample, order, shipping, payment and correspondence records when we enter into a business relationship with you.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, access times and security or server logs.
- Cookie and analytics information: information generated by cookies or similar technologies, subject to your choices and applicable law.
- Comments: if comments are enabled and you submit one, we may collect the information entered in the form together with your IP address and browser user-agent information to help prevent spam.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- respond to inquiries, prepare quotations and arrange samples;
- provide, manufacture and deliver requested products and services;
- manage customer, supplier and business relationships;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve our website;
- measure website performance and understand how visitors use the site;
- prevent fraud, spam, abuse and security incidents;
- comply with accounting, tax, customs, legal and regulatory obligations; and
- protect our legal rights and resolve disputes.
4. Legal bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information because it is necessary to take steps at your request or perform a contract, to comply with legal obligations, for our legitimate interests in operating and securing our business, or with your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
5. Contact forms and attachments
Information submitted through our inquiry forms is saved in a restricted WordPress lead register and sent to authorised Bluehole Textile recipients by email. Access, retention and CSV export are limited to authorised administrators. The website stores the submitted form fields and attachment metadata (such as file name, type and size), but not a second copy of the attachment itself. Attachments are temporarily processed by the website for email delivery and the temporary server copy is deleted after the email attempt. Copies may remain in business email systems and backups for the retention periods described below.
Forms use a hidden honeypot and may use Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam and abuse. Turnstile may process limited device, browser and network information needed to determine whether a submission is legitimate. Please do not send sensitive personal information that is not necessary for your request. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
6. Cookies and website analytics
Our website may use the following categories of technologies:
- Strictly necessary technologies: required for security, network operation, form delivery and core WordPress functions.
- Preference technologies: used to remember choices such as language or display preferences.
- Statistics technologies: used to understand visits and website performance. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) and Microsoft Clarity, deployed through Google Tag Manager (“GTM”).
Non-essential analytics technologies do not load until you accept analytics cookies. If accepted, our consent configuration keeps advertising storage denied and permits analytics storage. You can refuse or withdraw consent through the website’s Cookie settings control and can also delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking essential technologies may affect site operation.
GA4 may use cookies including _ga and _ga_*. Google may process information about your device and use of the website under its own privacy terms. We configure GA4 user-level and event data retention to 14 months.
Microsoft Clarity helps us understand aggregate visitor behaviour through heatmaps, click and scroll information, device and browser details, and session recordings. The entire lead-form area is masked so Clarity does not receive typed form values, names, email addresses, telephone numbers or uploaded file names. WordPress administration pages and logged-in staff sessions are excluded from our analytics loading. See Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.
7. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only as necessary with:
- website hosting, security, email and technical service providers, including SiteGround and Cloudflare;
- analytics and tag-management providers, including Google and Microsoft, only when permitted by your consent and applicable law;
- shipping, payment, customs and other suppliers needed to fulfil a request or order;
- professional advisers, insurers, auditors and authorities where legally required; and
- a successor organisation in connection with a lawful merger, acquisition or transfer of business assets.
Service providers are permitted to process information only for the relevant service and are expected to protect it appropriately.
8. International transfers
Bluehole Textile is located in China and some service providers or recipients may be located in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for international transfers. By contacting us, you understand that your information may be processed in China and in countries where our service providers operate.
9. How long we keep information
- Website lead register: 365 days from submission, unless a longer period is needed for an active business relationship, contract or legal obligation.
- Website mail-delivery logs: 30 days; the log records delivery status and technical metadata, not the message body.
- General inquiries and correspondence: up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact.
- Order, transaction, accounting and tax records: for the applicable legal period, generally up to 7 years.
- Security and server logs: generally up to 90 days unless a longer period is needed to investigate an incident or meet a legal requirement.
- GA4 user-level and event data: configured for a retention period of 14 months.
- Microsoft Clarity data: retained according to the applicable Clarity service settings and Microsoft’s policies.
- Consent records: for as long as reasonably needed to demonstrate and manage your choices.
We may retain information longer when required by law, needed for an active contract, or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it where reasonably practicable.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and complain to a relevant data-protection authority. To exercise a right, email Bluehole@shortplush.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Third-party links, embedded content and social media
Our website may link to or embed content from third-party services and social-media platforms. Those services may collect information under their own privacy policies when you visit them or interact with their content. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
13. Children
Our website and services are intended for business users and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
14. Changes to this policy
