On June 5,2024 bay international textile and clothing apparel expo, the China council for the
Promotion of International Trade textile industry branch (textile ccpit CCPIT TEX) and Singapore
tourism bureau (STB) held a signing ceremony, Singapore tourism bureau exhibition and conference
department executive director Fu Qichuan on behalf of Singapore tourism and textile ccpit signed a
memorandum of cooperation, the two sides on the asia-pacific textile and clothing supply chain fair
and peak BBS (APTEXPO 2024, hereinafter referred to as “Singapore Asia Pacific exhibition”) reached
cooperation intention. After the signing ceremony, Fu Qichuan, Executive Director of the Exhibition
and Conference Department of the Singapore Tourism Board, gave an exclusive interview to the
media.

The signing is an important milestone, marking the formal establishment of cooperation consensus
on the first Singapore Asia Pacific Exhibition, and we will work together to promote the cooperation and
innovative development of the textile and garment supply chain in the region.”Fu said the signing aims to
explore the potential of bilateral cooperation and jointly develop and root new activities in Singapore
Gu Singapore’s status as a global Asian business and tourism hub.
According to reports, the first Singapore Asia Pacific Fair will be held at the Singapore Sands
Convention and Exhibition Center from November 13 to 15,2024. The exhibition is jointly initiated by
China Textile Industry Federation and ASEAN Textile Industry Federation, and jointly hosted by CCPIT
and MP Singapore Private Limited, the first international exhibition platform covering the whole ecology
of the textile and garment industry in the Asia-Pacific region and with supply chain as the theme.
Singapore is the gateway to the Asia-Pacific region and is closely connected to the growing textile
centers in South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Therefore, Fu Yichuan recognized
Singapore is ideal for the first APTEXPO, and Tourism Singapore will support the hosting of the first Asia
Pacific Textile and Garment Supply Chain Expo and Summit in Singapore.
“The arrival of the Singapore Asia Pacific Exhibition is of great significance to the exhibition and
conference industry in Singapore, and we hope that this cooperation with CCPIT will stimulate more
cross-border cooperation between the exhibition and conference companies in Singapore and
China.”Fu also said that the choice of Singapore as the event venue also affirms Singapore’s status as a
global exhibition and business center, and also provides a platform for international event organizers
such as CCPIT to expand their business in the region.
Fu said he looks forward to a vibrant and successful Singapore Asia Pacific Exhibition in Singapore in
November, where like-minded business leaders and companies will gather together to communicate and
start business. With the theme of “Building Together for a Flexible, Flexible and Sustainable Textile and Garment Supply Chain System”, Singapore Asia Pacific hopes to inspire and drive innovative and
sustainable best practices and solutions to take the region’s textile and apparel supply chain forward,
